Parks & Facilities Map
Formerly known as Summit Hill Park, this site is home to adult softball leagues. Three diamonds are available, highlighted by the championship lighted South Field. The playground, lighted tennis courts, and concession stand attract families throughout the summer months. The newly remodeled concession stand also serves as a meeting place for Frankfort Square groups, such as the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Thanks to a State Line Item Grant secured by Illinois Senator Maggie Crotty; the park district constructed a picnic shelter which doubles as an outdoor classroom for Mary Drew Elementary School in the fall of 2008. When cold winter winds blow, don’t hibernate; come on out and enjoy the lighted skating rink available at this park site.
