Diversity abounds along the bike/walking path in Lake of the Glens Park. Planted wetlands border detention areas, and residents can spot a variety of wildlife further enhancing their recreational experience. The Brookside Glen path connects to the playground in northwestern Brookside Glen, and the popular Union Creek Park/Hilda Walker Middle School.
