With the addition of the North campus, FSPD partnered with Lincoln-Way High School to re-invent this existing site, as evident in two beautifully landscaped signs flanking the entry way. This western entry point, formerly referred to simply as “Lot 7”, enables high school students to safely walk or bike to school along the park district’s path, through this newly landscaped park area. Trees and various plantings line the path, offering a scenic walkway, and park benches offer a shady respite for all park users.
