A forested park of mature oak and hickory trees offers a unique location for this park site, located in the southeastern corner of our community. In addition to state-of-the-art playground equipment, a Victorian-style gazebo makes a graceful backdrop to what is undoubtedly the most picturesque of the FSPD’s many parks. A bridge connecting Plank Trail Park to the Old Plank Trail bike/walking path opens the door to additional recreational activities, i.e. biking, walking, rollerblading. Working together, FSPD staff and residents proved a valuable partnership in establishing this 7-acre scenic wooded park site.
