Eagle Scout projects include a bird observation station, fishing pier, purple martin houses, wetland plantings, haywagon construction, bike path mile markers, and flagpole installation.

Thanks to an intergovernmental agreement between Summit Hill School District 161 and the Frankfort Square Park District, the baseball, softball, soccer fields and all-weather track add to programming opportunities for our residents. Over 5 acres of athletic fields are tended by park district maintenance staff, and are located directly adjacent to Hunter Prairie Park, offering 36 total acres of available recreation space.
