Facility Rental Information

The Frankfort Square Park District has five facilities available on a rental basis. These rooms can be used for a variety of celebrations, such as banquets, weddings, birthdays, showers, or family gatherings. Renters must be 25 years of age.

Facility Rental, Fees, and Availability

The facilities are available for a minimum of five hours. Facility rentals are reserved by appointment during regular office hours.

  • Beginning September 1st, rentals are booked for January and February
    of the following year.
  • Beginning January 1st, rentals are booked for March – December
    of the current year.

Categories For Assigning Usage

Use of indoor and outdoor space at the LWN campus by groups and organizations will be administered and scheduled by the Frankfort Square Park District.

Indoor space is comprised of the fieldhouse and gymnasium, but excludes the pool.  Outdoor space is comprised of athletic fields, both soccer and baseball, but excludes the use of the stadium and track.

Any group or organization requesting usage will be required to complete either indoor or outdoor facility usage request forms.  These forms are available online at http://www.fspd.org, at the F.A.N. desk at the LWN fieldhouse, or at the park district office.

Requests for usage will be determined based on the following categorized criteria:

Category 1 Requests
Lincoln-Way Community High School sponsored activities.

Category 2 Requests
Frankfort Square Park District sponsored programs.

Category 3 Requests
Lincoln-Way Community High School District residents.  Priority will be based on residency, with maximum for resident consideration at 50%.

Category 4 Requests
Non-profit groups/organizations with less than 50% residency

Category 5 Requests
For profit groups/organizations

Priority will be given to any requests that have the largest percentage of residents.

Usage fees will be determined by the established Categories #1 – #5.

Pavilion Rental Information

The Frankfort Square Park District has two (2) picnic shelters available on a rental basis for family picnics, birthdays, etc. The Union Creek Picnic Shelter located at the Hilda Walker School site and the 80th Avenue shelter located next to the South Suburban Special Recreation building is available.

  • No alcohol allowed
  • Must be 25 years or older to reserve pavilions.
  • Additional smaller shelters are available at Indian Trail, Hunter Prairie, Community, Frankfort Square School, and Dr. Julian Rogus School Parks at no cost. Usage is available on a first-come, first-served basis for these pavilions.

Splash Park Rental Information

Visit the Splash Park, located at the Community Center, where children of all ages can have fun and stay cool. Enjoy refreshing water that sprays, shoots, and cascades over you. This facility features brightly colored interactive water components, creating a fun way to beat the heat.

The Splash Park is available daily for private party rentals between 10:00 and 11:45 a.m. Private rentals include usage of the Splash Park, picnic shelter, and picnic tables.

The Frankfort Square Park District has the following facilities available for community group use at no charge.

Tours of all facilities are available upon request prior to your event.

Submission dates for meetings are as follows:

Groups must return the facility to the same condition it was found prior to their use. It is the responsibility of the group leader to sweep floors, empty garbage, clean-up spills, and put all tables and chairs away before leaving.

The park district reserves the right to relocate groups in case of a problem with scheduling.
