Freedom of Information

In compliance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Frankfort Square Park District offers the following information.

The (5 ILCS 140/) Illinois Freedom of Information Act is a state statute that provides the public the right to access government documents and records. The law provides that a person can ask a public body for a copy of its records on a specific subject, and the public body must provide those records, unless there is an exemption in the statute that protects those records from disclosure.

Persons requesting documents from the Frankfort Square Park District under FOIA must make such requests in writing. Please note: a FOIA Request for Information form is available here, but the requestor may use his/her own format, addressing it to the Frankfort Square Park District, 7540 W. Braemar Lane, Frankfort, IL 60423, or via email at info@fspd.org.
